Dangotte Foundation (DF)was set up by founder Wamba Isingoma , a born and bred half Ugandan, and half Conglese with the purpose of helping and inspiring Ugandans living close to wildlife areas to better their lives through tourism. The foundation will partner with these local communities to support programs that focus on education, conservation, and community empowerment. Empowering communities through training, Education and Sustainable Tourism.

UPLIFTING LOCAL COMMUNITIES

Founded in 2021 by wamba Isingoma, The Dangotte Foundation was driven by a shared vision of uplifting local communities near Uganda’s wildlife areas and Training of All Ghetto youth. With a deep connection to Uganda’s natural beauty and its people,

Wamba Isingoma recognised  the transformative power of tourism and understood that sustainable tourism must go hand in hand with community development and environmental conservation.

Our foundation is dedicated to linking tourism with community empowerment, and ghetto youth encouraging local communities and ghettos to recognize the value of wildlife and nature as vital resources for improving their well-being and achieving long-term conservation goal. 

OUR IMPACT

In the past three years, Dangotte Foundation has successfully established four training cafes in Mbarara, kibale, Fortportal and Murchison Falls.These initiatives are funded through food revenue from our Cafes.

The cafes provide free hospitality training to local youth and all ghetto youth from ghetto Areas and surrounding communities for Six months. You can sponsor a student   just 1000USD for the whole Course.

Upon completion, trainees are employed at our Cafes or referred to other establishments, boosting local employment and skills development
